Patrick Karpowicz

I have been a CPA for over 40 years. My clients are my number one priority and I am their trusted business advisor. I got tired of “traditional” CPA firms where the client is treated as a “revenue center” and listed as “A, B or C” clients. My business model is to treat each client as an “A” client. I want to treat each client as I want to be treated. With respect, compassion and understanding.

I have been offering proactive, strategic tax planning, technical advice and business counseling. I have extensive experience in individual tax, S-corporations, partnerships, LLC’s and corporate entities. In addition, I advise clients on tax issues involving not-for-profit entities, including the preparation of necessary documentation to obtain tax exempt status. If it’s federal and state tax compliance that you’re seeking, I’m well-versed in not only guiding clients through these processes, but also audits and representation in front of the IRS.

It’s true that more minds are better than one, that’s why I actively participate and engage with groups such as: The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. I have been involved with Chicago area community organizations. I am currently on the Board of the Irish Music School of Chicago. I am also involved in Grand Rapids area organizations including Local First.
